Walk to the back of your ranch at
dusk. With a long hook, capture 4 to 5 rattlesnakes from sun-warmed rocks
where these cold-blooded critters like to snooze.
You can also sleep in an unzipped
sleeping bag - the snakes will crawl in with you for warmth. Don't move
too quickly when you wake up. You don't want to startle the snakes.
Clean and skin the snakes the way
you normally do. Cut them into 2" pieces and skewer on barbed wire
with the barbs removed.
Alternate pieces with tarantulas,
scorpions and beetles. (Just kidding!) Grill the kabobs very close to
the heat, turning constantly.
Glaze with Daddy Sam Sawce during
the last 3 minutes of cooking.
